Our Self-Care Strategies



We recognize that maintaining our well-being is essential to effectively supporting our students and fulfilling our responsibilities. While our self-care practices may differ, we each make intentional efforts to care for our physical, emotional, and mental health.

Some of us prioritize exercise, whether through walking, going to the gym, participating in sports, or engaging in other physical activities that help relieve stress and boost our energy. Others find renewal through traveling, taking opportunities to explore new places, experience different cultures, and step away from the demands of daily life. Many of us also value spending quality time with family, finding comfort, support, and joy in meaningful moments with loved ones.

Although our self-care strategies vary, they all serve the same purpose: helping us recharge, maintain balance, and continue growing both personally and professionally. By making time for activities that bring us happiness and fulfillment, we are better able to care for ourselves and, in turn, better support the students and communities we serve.
